    Following the rules the Executive Committee nominated the ISC for the next congress in the following composition:

  3. Call for nominations

    The Henri Poincar� Prize sponsored by the Daniel Iagolnitzer Foundation was created in 1997 to recognize outstanding contributions in mathematical physics, and contributions which lay the groundwork for novel developments in this broad field. The Prize is also created to recognize and support young people of exceptional promise who have already made outstanding contributions to the field of mathematical physics. The prize is awarded every three years at the International Congress of Mathematical Physics (ICMP) and in each case, is awarded to three individuals. A list of previous winners can be found here. Nominations for the 2009 Prize, which is to be awarded at the ICMP in Prague, can be made to any current member of the Executive Committee of the IAMP. There is no prescribed format for a nomination but the following information will help the selection committee with its task:


    Please use email for your nomination; you will receive an acknowledgment that your nomination has been received.

    To ensure full consideration please submit your nominations by November 30, 2008.
