Dues of the International Association of Mathematical Physics

IAMP members can find out the status of their dues payment by viewing their own entry in the Membership Database. Current annual dues have been set by the Executive Committee:

Dues for ordinary membership

US Dollars 20 French Account, Euros 20 Pounds Sterling 13
Japanese Yen 2600 Swiss Francs 30 German Account, Euros 20

In order to minimize administrative costs, members are encouraged to pay for at least three years at a time. It is also possible to obtain life membership in the association.

Reduced dues status

Reduced dues status is available for members who permanently reside in certain countries. Further information will be sent upon request to the Secretary.

Life membership

Life membership in the Association is also available. Requests for life membership should be sent to the Treasurer and must include your date of birth and the preferred currency of payment. The treasurer will then calculate and inform the member of the amount due for life membership, which is normally the dues owed for a number of years equal to Max[(65-current age), 5]. The formula may have to be adjusted, however, for members who are in arrears in order to cover payment of past dues or to reflect credit for members who have paid dues for several years in advance.

Associate membership

Dues are $600.00 for the first three years of membership payable immediately upon becoming an associate member, $200 per annum for subsequent years. For our book-keeping, payments in dollars to the US account are preferred but also acceptable is the equivalent at current exchange rates paid to one of the accounts listed below.

Payment methods

By credit card

Payment may be made by bank credit card (VISA or Mastercard only). To pay by credit card you should go to your own entry in the
Membership Database. Press "payment" and then "dues", you are asked to enter the number of years you wish to pay for (please, use the currency of your country, if possible). Then press "calculate", and the amount to pay is calculated. If you then press "pay", a new page appears which again asks you to click on "Saferpay Virtual Terminal", and after having done so, yet another window opens. What seems to be a nuisance is actually a safety measure of the credit card service provider. Your credit card data are actually not processed by us but you are directly linked to the credit card service provider B+S (using "saferpay"). Your data is transmitted using the SSL or SET standards which continuously encrypt data between your computer and our web server. This makes it impossible for third parties to determine data such as your name, address or credit card number.
